Oh, desolate one
Way too beautiful to be overlooked
Sing, I say…
For many are your afflictions
But with everlasting kindness, you, too, will be lifted again
Oh, broken one
For you are far too precious not to be loved
For the Mighty one cometh this way
And with great mercy, He will gather you
Hold fast, I say, ohh fallen one
For the winds of life shall bruise you no more
The wise one rides this way soonest
It is said, He binds the broken-hearted and He makes whole the crushed in spirit
Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame
Do not fear disgrace
For you will not be humiliated
You will forget this shame
For this, too, shall pass
For only a brief moment, you were forsaken
Hold on, oh forgotten one
For He who comes brings healing
They say His hands bear scars
and you will know Him by His voice
And when He finds you
He will lift you and He will rejoice
You took the fall, beaten and trodden upon
But wow to the seed that hits the soil
Falls and dies and is hidden away
For in this death, you, too, shall live
To bloom in His courts like trees along the rivers
Whose leaves shall heal nations and fruits shall be many
Where the stork has its home in the junipers
Gardens flow with pomegranate, saffron, and cinnamon
So pleasant to taste, so fragrant to smell
So hold on, oh my dear fallen one
For your moment is here
