My Glow Is My Colour

A glow, a warm glow, illuminates from within my being as You make Your presence known to me

Like kinetic energy with the ability to generate light only seen by a certain human eye

An eye, that when looked into, reflects the source of that which it sees

The source, the One whose eyes are like flames of fire

Zillions of tiny photons stream like crystal shimmers

Gleaming and dancing under my skin

Frequencies of a secret song only understood by a certain human ear

An ear that has an ear to hear

The heart beatings of the One who seeks them

My skin has no colour as I infuse into Your likeness

Your glow permeates every fibre of my being

A kaleidoscope of merging colours

My innermost parts so frail and weak is drawn to You

Like fireflies

Fluttering around You, beaming in Your glow

Your city has no need for a sun nor moon

You’re the cloud of smoke by day and the glow of fire by night

Your glory will be my canopy

A sheltered shade, my hiding place from storm and rain

And as I dance before Your face, I feel so little, yet so big

I rest upon the palm of Your hands, for I know the works of these fingers

I glow in Your glow

My colour is my glow
